Pillars were the first candles to be manufactured at Colonial Candlecrafters. The effort to make a superior quality long burning column candle with a delightful fragrance was, and continues to be, a priority for Colonial Candlecrafters.

Pillar candles are available in many sizes with standardized colors and scents. Additionally, any pillar candle can be hand decorated with an exclusive Colonial Candlecrafters' pattern. Using various antique hammers, a distinct "relief" is pounded into the once smooth column surface.

This is a process unique to Colonial Candlecrafters and was conceived by Pat as a teenager. To this day, ALL distressed candles are hammered by Pat herself.

 Lace & Daisey Pattern

Tiny "daiseys" are individually hammered into the center of each "lace" circle.  This pattern is repeated continually around the entire 3X6" & 3X9" cylinders. Bases not included.

Daisey Pattern

3X9" Daisey in Medallian
A single daisey bursts forth in the center of a solid color medallian on this 3X9" pillar. A repeated stroke background surrounds the medallian and continues around the back of the candle. Bases not included.


3X6  Single Daisey
A single daisey with a vine of leaves is hammered into each side of these richly colored pillars.  A three prong row of "shagbark" splits the candle's front and back design. Bases not included.
