We do NOT recommend burning the butterfly candles. If the butterfly candle is burned, it will never look the same again, the wicks are very short, so burning time is quite limited.

Kaleidoscope Butterfly
Intricate designs have been cut into each butterfly mold and is initially covered with a layer of white wax. Chunks of colored wax are then embedded into the wings of each hand-made candle giving every butterfly a unique and colorful impact. Each butterfly is then attached to a wax base to complete its appearance.

The discriminating candlemakers at Colonial Candlecrafters have revived a technique where chunks of brightly colored, scented wax are molded within a candle. Your eyes enjoy the visual rainbow of floating candle colors while your nose will be tickled with a medley of perfectly blended fragrances.
